Results and alerts should be treated as prompts to investigate. Confirm important findings directly with the authoritative DNS service, registrar, registry, certificate authority, hosting provider or other relevant source before changing configuration or taking disruptive action.

External data can be incomplete

DNS responses can vary because of caching, propagation, resolver location, DNSSEC validation and temporary failures. RDAP and WHOIS records may be delayed, redacted, missing or formatted inconsistently. A published expiry date does not prove that auto-renewal or payment is configured.

Certificate Transparency coverage depends on public logs, log availability, collector progress and certificate contents. An observation does not by itself prove that issuance was authorised or malicious, and absence of an alert does not prove that no certificate exists.

No guaranteed alert time

Check schedules are targets rather than guarantees. Upstream rate limits, maintenance, network faults, email filtering and other events may delay checks or notifications. You should maintain independent renewal reminders, provider alerts, access controls, backups and incident-response arrangements.
