Acceptable Use Policy

Authorised use

You may use DNSVerify only for lawful monitoring of domains you own, administer or have clear permission to monitor. You must provide accurate account information and complete any ownership checks honestly.

You must not

• add domains without authorisation, use verification records obtained improperly, or misrepresent your relationship with a domain;
• use DNSVerify results to target, compromise, harass, impersonate or unlawfully surveil another person or organisation;
• probe, scan, scrape, reverse engineer or attack DNSVerify, its accounts, APIs, Workers, collectors or infrastructure;
• bypass rate limits, Turnstile, invitations, account limits, access controls or other technical safeguards;
• use automation against the service unless we have expressly approved it in writing;
• submit malicious code, deceptive content, spam or unlawful material through forms or support channels;
• interfere with other users, overload upstream DNS, registry, WHOIS, RDAP or Certificate Transparency services, or cause us to breach their rules;
• resell, white-label or provide access to DNSVerify without our written permission.

Responsible security research

Do not test against production accounts or data without prior permission. If you believe you have found a vulnerability, stop once you have enough information to describe it and report it privately through our contact form. Do not access, retain or disclose other users' data.

Enforcement

We may throttle, restrict, suspend or close access to protect users, third parties and the service. We will consider the nature, impact and history of a suspected breach, and may preserve relevant evidence or cooperate with lawful requests where required.

Report suspected misuse through the contact form. Include the relevant account, domain, time and evidence where it is safe to do so.
